So you're getting married

and looking through wedding photographers and you fall in love with a photographer and their work. For the sake of this blog let's assume it's me!

You eagerly scan socials and my website looking at my style and reading testimonials only to be gutted when you go to my prices page and see that I am out of your budget.

BUGGER!

Fear not as I have a few options for you.

Option one

BOOK ME BY THE HOUR

You choose when I start and how much coverage you want. I am happy to jump on a call to discuss realistically what your budget is and how many hours coverage I can do for that price. It is always worth sending me an email to discuss this option.

My hourly option has become increasingly popular the last 12 months and I have no restrictions on this being solely for weekday weddings. If you want to book a peak season date and we are a good fit then that is fine by me.

Here is an example of what 4 hours coverage [£1400] could look like if you are getting married at 1pm:

12.30 - I arrive at venue and take some photos of one partner with their

wedding party [bridesmaids/groomsmen etc].

13.00 - Ceremony coverage

13.30 - Confetti and reception drinks / canapés

14.00 - Family group shots [keep this to 10 or less to not use up too much of

the time], guest candids

15.30 - Whisk you away for some couples portraits [approx 15/20 mins]

16.00 - Guests seated, speeches can be captured if being done before food

16.30 - I leave as your food is served

This is just a rough sketch of how a shorter coverage can work but always happy to discuss your timings and see how best works for you and your plans.

option two

SPREAD THE COST

Either over equal monthly payments.

OR

Split the final fee over 2 payments.

Both options are interest free.

Lots of my couples are opting to book my full day and pay me over monthly payments or by splitting their final fee into 2 payments.

An example of how this can look if booking my full day [just me] at £2000

Booking deposit - £200

Balance - £1800

Pay monthly over 12 months - £150 per month

OR

Split over 2 payments

£900 - 4 months before your wedding

and then

£900 - 4 weeks before your wedding

Wedding gifts

I am getting more parents and family members chip in to pay the final fee lately too. So if you are lucky enough to have a family member donating towards your day, I recommend using the money towards something that will last forever.

Your photos.

I know I sound biased but it is true.
