It was a chilly but sunny day in February 2024 and myself and 6 other photographers met at Cromer beach in Norfolk. We met with model and real life married couple Cathy and Will.
I have followed Cathy on social media for a few years and we have chatted a few times. I have always wanted to shoot with them, so I was particularly excited about this shoot.
We started the shoot off in one of the side cobbled streets and then moved down to the beach. I timed the shoot a couple of hours past high tide so the sea was in enough but was on it's way out again. We were blessed with glorious weather and there was hardly a cloud in the sky, so everyone had a chance to practice some shooting into the sun and we experimented with shadow and light underneath the pier.
Cathy and Will - ever the professionals then agreed to have a splash in the sea, all in the name of art!
We practiced some safe lifts and generally just ran around the beach laughing.

After the shoot we all headed to the Cliftonville Hotel on the seafront to a private room for lunch.
After lunch and a rest from all the running around we talked all things workflow.
I shared my entire workflow from from advertising to enquiries, from the wedding day to gallery delivery and shared how I am always trying to improve my client journey.
A lovely day of shooting fun content and networking with other great photographers.
