I arrived at prep with Vicky at 11am. She had booked an Airbnb just 2 miles from the venue, which she stayed in with her sister, mum and best friend. I was welcomed by excitement and it was such a relaxed wedding morning.
Vick had chosen suppliers for her morning who matched the relaxed and fun vibe she wanted. The lovely Charlotte from The Hair & Feather Company alongside Natalie Kate MUA. The bridesmaid waited outside for the big reveal and there wasn't a dry eye in sight, followed by a lovely wholesome reveal with her lovely dad and nephew.
We all headed to the venue for their outdoor, celebrant led ceremony. The "aisle" was a walk through long grass which was beautiful. Her bridesmaids entered first followed by Vicky and her dad. Vicky wore a gown by Martina Liana Bridal and a dried flower crown made by Shubbery Twist. Her bouquet she made herself.
Their celebrant was Ruby from Ruby and Co Events and was tailored and perfectly to Vicky and Simon. They had two readings. One read by two friends and their nephew was their ring bearer.
Everyone enjoyed drinks and canapés in the sunshine before heading into the stretch tent for dinner. Incredible food supplied by Good Grub Company.
Once all seated for dinner there were speeches from Vicky's dad, Simon and the best men. This is always one of my favourite parts of the day to photograph. I love seeing everyone's reactions and it's a great opportunity for candid photos.
After speeches, Vicky and Simon had arranged a game of Rock n Roll Bingo. It got quite competitive and made some great photos.
There was an incredible brownie table set up for dessert - courtesy of Good Grub Company. Guests reactions were brilliant.
Vicky's dress was by Martina Liana Bridal and had the most beautiful sleeves and details.
It was giving ultimate Stevie Nicks vibes.
After dinner and before the party got started we headed out for some group photos with their bridesmaids and groomsmen, followed by some sunset couples portraits.
Everyone hit the dance floor with great energy after the first dance. They danced to the most incredible 3 piece rockabilly band called Relentless.
Such an incredible day. It was clear to see that Vicky and Simon had an amazing time. Planning their day in their own unique way really paid off.
Thanks for choosing me to capture your day -
I have an unforgettable time with you all!
