Elegant & stylish wedding inspiration at The Grange in Leverton.

An amazing team of creatives came together to create some truly elegant and stylish wedding inspiration at The Grange in Leverton in early March 2024.

I planned this day with my fellow wedding photographer pal, Sophie Ruck.

Our original theme and tone was modern elegance with editorial feels.

We aimed for sleek hair and clean and rosey make up, as inspired by the Golden Globes.

We wanted to really focus on the dresses, so opted for no veil and pearl accessories.

Our mood board was taupe, creams and rose pink with hints of peach and lilac.

Stunning gold colour embossed invitations, with a deckled edge and a dusky pink envelope from Vicky at Inviting Writing.

Jewellery and hair accessories were from Penny Pearl Bridal - we opted for delicate pearl pins with gold and pearl, shell effect drop earrings to make a statement for the day look.

For the evening look we had some fun, pearl hoop earrings.

We shot some groom prep images in one of the rooms upstairs in The Grange. The room was beautifully lit and was stylish with plenty of space. The staircase in the entrance was a cool space for portraits too.

Lilly's hair was styled beautifully by Robyn at Perfect Silhouette Hairdressing and our lovely MUA , Rachel from Rachel Bray Makeup Artistry. Together they nailed the brief.

The ceremony room was styled by Ruby at Ruby and Co Events.

Stunning florals consisted of:

eucalyptus, roses, hydrangeas, stocks, ranunculus, campanula, spray roses, snap dragons and clematis.

The dried flower installation is a permanent feature of this venues ceremony room which is beautiful and neutral colours so will go with any colour scheme a couple choose.

The chairs were faced inwards towards the aisle for a modern and less traditional feel.

Lilly wears dress Bordeaux by Jeune Bridal - supplied by Amy at Bellamme Bridal.

A truly romantic and elegant gown.

The flowers were repurposed for a breath taking cake and macaron table.

Macarons were made and supplied by Kasia at Bee Stachio. They were dusky pink and olive green to tie in with the colour scheme and had a delicious white chocolate filling.

The cake was by Rhiannon at Flour and Blush. The cake stand held flowers stems and was just so beautiful.

Lilly had a dress change and wore "Silas" by Madilane Bridal.

We had a classic car for some portraits in the afternoon, a red 1986 Porsche Targa.

I love the contrast of the red against the venue. We moved some of the flowers.

If you are thinking of hiring a car for some portraits my advice is:

Allow a decent amount of time for these photos to be done, at least 20 minutes.

Therefore, do not book this last minute before your wedding when you do not have capacity to change your timeline, as you will end up feeling rushed and not enjoy it.

The table scapes were created with pink table cloths, bud vases and clear charger plates.

Tall, pink tapered candles and large pink bows on the chairs.

Colours glassware in different coloured pinks and macarons used as favours.

The epitome of classy and romantic wedding table decor.

For the reception and party look, Lilly changed into a mini bridal dress and had her hair and makeup refreshed and changed. Opting for a fun and bold pink lip.

Meanwhile Stuart lost his tux jacket and bow tie for a more casual look.

The flowers we repurposed again around the bar for some fun photos and cocktail drinking. T\

he neon sign is a permanent feature at the bar.

Finishing the day with a champers spray.
