Sarah and Lee married in London with their closest friends and family on 1st December 2023.
The couple chose the iconic Marylebone Town Hall as the setting for their vows—a place steeped in history, adorned with grandeur, and cherished by many for its architectural beauty. Against the backdrop of this historic venue, the bride and groom exchanged heartfelt promises, surrounded by their loved ones.
Staying at The Landmark Hotel, the couple got ready separately. I met Lee at the cocktail bar for a few drinks with his brothers. The hotel is stunning and was the perfect backdrop for photos of the boys.
Sarah got ready with her MOH - Amy and had a very emotional first look with her dad before leaving the hotel via their grand staircase to head to the Town hall.
Sarah and her dad arrived by a white taxi.
At the Town Hall, their ceremony took place in a beautiful room big enough to seat their 35 guests. A string trio played before and after the ceremony.
Lee's mum did a reading, The Art of Marriage by Wilferd Arlan Peterson.
After the ceremony we did confetti on the famous steps of the Marylebone Town Hall.
Followed by group shots with immediate family.
We stayed at the Town Hall for some couples shots before heading back to the hotel with the rest of their guests.
The reception was held at the Landmark Hotel which is walking distance to the Marylebone Town Hall.
The reception room was decorated beautifully with white on white and navy blue.
A string trio played throughout their dinner. After a beautiful meal, there were speeches from Sarah's father, Lee, the best man and MOH.
After dinner the guest were treated to a intimate performance by Red, a singer from London. She was sensational and everyone was just in awe of her and rather emotional at times. Then they all had a singalong to "I say a little prayer for you", as inspired by one of my favourite movies, My Best Friends Wedding. They had the lyrics printed off for everyone so they could join in and it was really great fun.
Thank you to Lee and Sarah for choosing me to document your day. I had a great time at my first ever London City wedding.
