A beautiful winter wedding at Pentney Abbey in Norfolk.

Will and Izzy got married at Pentney Abbey on 4th November.

This was my first time shooting a wedding at Pentney Abbey and as you approach the Gatehouse it does kinda take your breath away.

Here I'll be sharing their day and some of my favourite images.

Enjoy!

Izzy got ready on site in their prep room and in the farmhouse with her closest friends. Looking cosy in their PJ's the red tartan was a welcome change to all the satin PJ's I have been seeing all year.

While the bridesmaids got dressed we kicked Izzy out of the room so she could come in to see them all ready together for the first time. Not a dry eye in the house.

Izzy got dressed and ready with Charlotte, her MOH and her mum before letting the rest of the maids in to see her. Izzy then read a letter from her husband to be, before walking over to the Gatehouse to get married.

Meanwhile - Will was getting ready at their home with his Bestman and Groomsmen. He also had a letter to read from Izzy and Will gave letters to his friends too. Letters always make lovely photo opportunities, so if you are planning on doing this - wait until we arrive before you read them.

The ceremony was held in the Gatehouse. Inside is beautiful and the windows were dressed with flowers to match Izzy's bouquet. Made of red roses, thistles, berries, purple limonium and seed heads that were sprayed gold. Flowers by Sprigs and Blooms based in Clenchwarton, Norfolk.

Izzy was walked down the aisle by her lovely dad.

Her mum gave a reading during the ceremony - "How love is like owning a dog" by Taylor Mali.

Will's parent read a scene from The Importance of Being Ernest. The play in which Izzy and Will first met. It really made this ceremony stand out from any I have shot this year and every was laughing and crying. Truly wonderful.

Confetti joy straight after the ceremony!

The bridesmaids wore floor length dresses in burgundy velvet and the MOH wore a jumpsuit in the same colour and material.

The boys wore blue tweed 3 piece suites from Slaters Menswear.

Izzy's dress from Prima Donna Bridal in Norwich.

The reception was held in the barn and was decorated with candles and low light giving the perfect cosy feels.

I love speeches. They are a perfect opportunity to grab those candid reactions of the guests.

After dinner there were sparklers cake cutting and plenty of dancing.

Perfect!

An amazing day!

Thanks to Izzy and Will for choosing and trusting me to shoot their wedding.
