Liz & Liam's intimate Norfolk wedding

Contacted me in April 2024, just as I was about to go travelling for a few weeks. We met on video call and I immediately loved their wedding plans. They were planning a small, intimate wedding to celebrate with all their closest family in June 2024 - just a few weeks after our call. We worked out that 3 hours coverage would be enough to capture everything they felt was most important.

They had booked an Airbnb in King Lynn, Norfolk that was big enough for all of their overseas guests to stay and for their wedding prep and reception in the garden. The Old Doctors House was perfect and worth looking up on Airbnb if you are looking for a cool and quirky home in Norfolk to stay in. Lots of beautiful spaces and light to use.

I arrived an hour before the ceremony at their airbnb and was greeted by the best New York energy a photographer could wish for. Liz's girls were helping do her hair and the calming but fun vibe was exactly what is needed on a wedding morning.

Once they were ready everyone else went out into the garden while the couple used the incredible winding staircase for their first look.

With everyone ready nice and early we utilised some of the spare time and made a start on their list of group shots in the beautiful walled garden of the house. Then we all walked together to the Town Hall in Kings Lynn where we did. few more family photos outside while we waited for our time slot.

Liz and Liam's ceremony was very moving and it was clear to see how much they mean to the people who were there to celebrate with them.

We spent the next 15/20 minutes getting the rest of the family group shots done outside in the Town Hall gardens and then all the guests headed back to the house and we stayed back to get some couples portraits in the town.

We then headed back to the house to join the rest of Liz and Liams guests in the sunshine of their garden. They had two large dining table set up outside for dinner and everything looks so beautiful.
